Well, I can't tell you how much fun Becky and I had today. Dennis and Judy stopped for the entire day on their way to see their grandson in Omaha. We visited them at their home back last September, They stopped this Monday to see us. I took the day off and we had lunch and super. They will leave for Omaha tomorrow morning. Dennis confirmed I am a better stacker than him! Now that is a BIG compliment. I think he was just being nice having seen his stacks in person. Judy and I took a walk and we had a fire on the patio. What a great day with friends met on on the the firewood forum, and oh yeah the old one too.

Well, the "Master" may have complimented you on your stacks, but just what did he have to say about your splitter????

Thanks Steve for posting that. We did have a great time visiting with Steve and Becky. Had a very warm day for the visit. Yes, Steve is a great wood stacker (better than me) and yes we did talk about the splitter.

Pictures? What are they. We were clear into Omaha before we even thought about the camera. I knew I packed it somewhere in the car and yes, I did get it out. But sorry folks, no pictures at Steve's.

I'll make another post about the Omaha trip but Steve did make one mistake. We went to see our Granddaughter and her daughter. It was the first time we have been to see our one and only great granddaughter....and a great one she is. Oh how we wanted to kidnap her and bring her home!!!!!!!
