When I put my saw down in the very beginning of September, I assumed it would sit until after Christmas. But, with a record breaking year for me delivery wise and some ridiculously warm and dry weather for this time of year, I decided to start cutting again today. Worked on some white oak logs and almost forgot how much I like to run a saw. I have a couple of college kids who want to get some work in here and there so I will be doing some periodic cutting to keep them busy.

Hey, why not? The sooner it's split, the sooner it'll dry.

I concur, using saws and cutting up the logs is fun. We have had a stretch of warm weather since zeta whacked us. More tropical storm rain tomorrow.

This is typically when I really get going with my firewood work.

Running a saw is pretty fun, especially when you've got a sharp chain.:saw:
