Anyone watch this show? It's pretty interesting even if it's likely scripted largely.

Was a good show at first
Now tough to watch any logging, & wood cutting work
Rare to see them fall a tree.
just a bunch of made up drama.
Sometimes I record & takes 5 minutes to watch.

It's still on my DVR, if there is nothing else I'll watch an episode. I have to admit that this season is a bit more interesting than the last. It seems the producers think more folks will watch if there are more female loggers and not just Shelby's "assistants".

Fist few seasons were good, then it went fake.

Swamp logger or American loggers was good. The short 3 episode show " extreme loggers"where swamp logger first appeared was good. Also has a serier on "ice loggers" I think it was Maine or Canada?

I am about 3 shows behind or more on Ax men on DVr . Really not sure why I watch it? They rarely show the equiotment or felling a tree anymore.

I never watched the first seasons. I only saw it for the first time last season. So, I have no idea what it was like. All these shows change over time. I liked Wild West Alaska last year. First episode from this year seems a little more scripted.

They all start real then go fake?

The first few seasons of AM actually showed the equipment setup, more running and lots of felling and bucking. Jim Browning left cause he would not get into fake arguments they wanted to see.

I need to get those on dvd then. I had no idea how technical it was before. Ice Road Truckers was cool back in '07, and then I stopped watching.

Don't get me wrong there was drama then, bit they showed felling, loading trucks and them hauling.

Get American loggers, seen it? They don't use saws bit it was techinical, and showed logging.Im in the south so I was closer to the way we operate but we don't haul double trailers where each trailer weighs 100,000 pounds :-0

Another reason to get a Roku, History's channel has the whole series on demand for free.

Yep, a&e, smithsoneon too. Fox, Disney, watchespn is you have a cable service that lets you authenticate with them. We can only do that with fox. Thanks, Dad

Fox, Disney and WatchESPN you need to have a participating provider. History and A&E you can get a little more if you have a qualified provider, but a ton is available without it in luring Axemen. Smithsonian needs no provider for anything.
