    Has anyone installed any of the heat activated units in their attic? I am thinking a couple around the stack might make sense. Haven't had any issues, but piece of mine for $100-$300 is cheap.

    I was looking at units like these, but haven't found a supplier in the US yet

    This might be something that gets installed in the fall and taken down in the spring.
