Nice load of Cherry. It's a rare day to find one that size by me. Most are trashed by the black bears and grow in all different directions except straight up.

Nice score! I always love seeing a good cherry scrounge. Cherry is my all around favorite tree to process. Interesting wood, good smell, easy to limb, easy to cut, good BTUs, what's not to love? Good job.

Cherry is not my absolute favorite but it is plentiful around here so I always have a fair amount in the stacks. It is a good middle of the road btu fuel and yes it is easy to process.
    Just got the truck unloaded.

It's pretty normal, cherries always seem to be anything but straight.

Guess I am fortunate as we have a lot of large straight cherries. Occasionally I get into a wind twisted one

Great looking loads. I dont get cherry too often here in Southern Conn. Did get a 16" tree last month, pretty straight too. The biggest rounds i have to wedge and sledge. Blown over in the May tornado here. Not my personal favorite as its tougher for me to split by hand, but ill take it if not too bad. Seems to grow a lot raodside here.
