Lots of great info and knowledgeable folks there. However as of late it has been over run with spam, and no admin support. A member there has started up http://outdoorwoodfurnaceinfo.com/forum/index.php. check it out. If anyone as an issue with the link I'll edit and remove it.
stumbled on it once upon a time when i thought OWBs were my only option to heat water. i tihnk i recall another one that was strictly for homemade jobs.
I'm always curious what did you get? This was our first boiler ,much like an outdoor boiler but no cute little house around it , but it did burn wood lots of wood 22 cords per year. Our second was a triple pass cast iron down drafter , 16 cords per year and down to 10 cords per year when storage was added , but could it make creosote ! Our third boiler for the past 30 years the Jetstream one of the first gasification boilers, burns clean almost never need to clean the chimney and efficient burns 4 1/2 cords per year doing the same job as the first two!
http://outdoorwoodfurnaceinfo.com/forum/index.php Spent some time looking at this site. IMO. Conclusion - it is a site very much controlled by OWB sales people! Did one thread with one post and to me a very predictable answer!
sales rep will discuss anything with you. i just saw your other post. i got a vedolux 37 with 1000 gallons presurized storage. perhaps i should put a thread of my install on this site.
