I posted this in the off topic section already. Sorry to double post. But if anyone needs a really nice little stove, I'd buy this and hold it for ya! It's a really good price. If I had a spot for this, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I'm not selling this. This person lives about 5 miles from me. This was just listed on my little mountain community site. If the mods remove this, I totally understand. I'm just trying to help my firewood friends "Vermont Castings Intrepid II blue cast iron wood stove. Top & front loading, includes warming shelves with mitten racks. Front screen included. Go to Vermontcastings.com for more specs Double wall telescoping pipe included. Some minor dings around lid. $550 Text 559 769 3099"
Someone here should certainly be able to utilize that or know someone who can, especially at that price. Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk
Dang I wish I was closer. My son & I just bought a small cabin & hunting property in the U.P. That stove would be perfect size. Too expensive to ship though I bet.
I think these people just bought a cabin in Bailey, CO. That's where they say the stove is. I'm like 10 minutes from Bailey. These folks moved here from California, of course.
Oh I see, lol, my husband did the same in 89' regarding moving here from Cali. I'll tag Beetle-Kill whose closer to that area incase he knows someone that can use it. Pretty Stove!! Either place I guess it would not make a big difference shipping to Michigan for AC, how silly, I assumed 559 was out east after learning many her are from New England. PS, when I first joined here so many members had their location listed as NE. I thought this board was full of members from Nebraska!!
Ha Ha. I would think the same about NE! And I do feel like most here live nearish to the East coast. And no real dig on Californians. They are pretty decent in general. We just have a huge influx of Californians in Colorado. Some of our best friends moved here from California a few years ago. We trade jabs daily.
My grandparents used to live in bailey! Grandpa commuted into work at what was then public service company. They have since moved into Lakewood as they got older and to be closer to family. I have good memories of being up in bailey
Bailey is a great town. Truly the prototypical Colorado mountain town. There is a killer brewery in Bailey called Mad Jack’s. We like to go there in the summer to have a couple of cold ones and enjoy the crisp outdoor air - surrounded by the mountains. We’ve literally been playing corn hole there in late June while the snow is falling.
That would be fun to head up there and give it a try next time we’re in Denver! Not many places with snow in july
