Cool video. He is a production cutter and knows what he's doing.

Where you hear saw troll talk about balance (sideways balance) on huskies being superior to stihl and dolmar, that is what he is talking about. the rev boost on the 550xp and the 562 are for limbing. People that don't do things like this wouldn't understand the difference when you are on and off and back on the throttle again the whole way up the tree.

most guys limb the upper 2/3 of the tree then finish it after bucking to length. He looks like he only does the upper half?

I would need oxygen after the first 15 feet! Hahaha
My 562 is now experiencing the "bog off idle" issue.

That's why I never forget to have my coffee or tea before going out cutting.Substituting an energy drink for the occasional busier days.

Mother of God... Shes going to cut her leg off or get a kickback in the mouth. Look how she holds a saw.

First video, a pro, short bar, wearing PPE, knows what hes doing... This video, a rank amateur, long bar, dont know chit. Pretty much the two extremes here.

And get this quote from her in the comments:
"Thank you for the advice. I've been chainsawing since I was 14 and I guess we never used protection. I was trying to use glasses and ear protection, but I need to see the tree move and I need to hear the tree cracking so I can get out of the way"

Since she was 14. So she knows what shes doing. Her actions show it. :loco:  Love her stance on PPE.. She dont need it.. remember shes an expert.

If she cant ''see the tree move'' while wearing eye protection then she shouldn't be using a saw.

I rarely use ear plugs when felling but always when bucking, limbing, milling.
