Posting this to see if there are any more then the 2 that I already know in my area. This week it is five Oak trees between 50 and 70 feet tall being brought in. I get too much wood for me to process alone. I have been having members of FHC, (Joe from Burnt Hills) a guy I met here stationed at the 109th Airlift Wing Base, (Kyle, from East Greenbush) coming as soon as he gets caught up. Here's the deal you take half of what you cut and leave the other half for me. Any interest contact me through either the Facebook page listed below or my phone number 518-368-5813 my name is Tony My Facebook name is 5183685813 yes and it's my phone number as well
Tony I am going to try to make it this Sunday. If not it will be the following Sunday. I will give you a call. Can't wait!
Not so much being nice, I can't keep up and I like the Barter system, as long as it's a Win for both sides. I guess you could say I'm "Wood Rich" 2 more large Oaks coming in today. If it's still light out I will post pictures. If I don't share they will rot before I can cut them. I actually had to tell a Tree Service company that was dumping here when he was in the area he no longer can. I now have 2 "Hoarders" cutting and trading their time for wood and 2 that don't belong to the site.
Dan from Rotterdam is checking out the site it's his first year burning. I told him, that he would be more than welcome and that all of you people are on the edge of Insanity according to most people. But then again most don't understand our "Addiction" so he would be among friends. Mike the other one I worry about he is trying to live off the grid even though he does have a flip phone.
A day late but another load of Oak came about an hour ago. Said I would post pictures. I broke the load down and separated it into the splitter pile and cutting piles.
Then it means you are getting paid to enjoy yourself. Nice to hear that somebody likes working. Most people dislike having to work and my only question is, "Then why did you make those bills?"
Used to drive through Glenville frequently and right past the ANG base at the county airport. Worked on Guilderland Ave. in Rotterdam. If I had a big dump trailer I'd be all over that, a couple cords at a time. No way to justify the trip for a pickup load though. I don't think you'll have a problem getting rid of that wood though.
If you took a right on Freemans Bridge Rd at the Stewart's when you came by the 109th I am up the road less then a mile. If you're ever down this way again let me know I'll buy you lunch or dinner. I run Carm's.
