    Just came in from working out in the shop all day and decided to sit down do some surfing and listen to the new album by Alan Jackson entitled "The Bluegrass Album". Always liked his stuff but really am getting into this one due to my deep liking of acoustic , especially Bluegrass

    Big fan here. The ol lady burned the cd a couple weeks ago. GOOD STUFF!! That was a dream of his, doing a bluegrass album befors he dies....

    Saw him live about 10 yrs ago. He doesn't put on a big show like all the "new" guys. Just sits there on a stool with his guitar and plays great music. I'd see him again in a heartbeat

    Yep... Alan and ol George Straight (and Keith Whitley). They don't need to anything fancy.


    Just sit down, sing, and listen to the melodies they play.
