Another new old stove

Hi all. My first post!
I went through 3 stoves last year, the first was a Century S244e which is an EPA stove, but with a 16” capacity firebox it was just too small, I acquire a lot of my firewood cut to length and most people cut it to 18”
So I moved on to the Old Hickory that was given to me, it was so bad, so so hard to burn for any amount of time, not unsafe, just annoying. I stuck it out till mid January, when a pellet stove came my way that I used through the end of the season but I don’t enjoy burning pellets, plus this one has a squeaky bearing on the auger and a loud fan.

I was raised burning firewood and even coal sometimes and a better wood stove was ever in the forefront of my mind. However money is an issue so a new purchase is out of the question, to FB Marketplace and craigslist! That’s when I happened upon the parlor stove, at $50 it was hard to say no I did an immense amount of research and was just praying that when I got there to pick it up it was in decent shape and if I was really lucky, didn’t say Taiwan.
well... I was really lucky. No “made in Taiwan” cast into the back, not even a “parlor stove” cast into it.
It seems to be a real old parlor stove, no markings anywhere but a solid casting and very clean. I don’t have a picture of it installed yet but I’ll get one up tomorrow. What is everyone’s experience with these old stoves? Positive ones preferably, haha. My next move is to use my time off to hoard some more cords. Buying a trying different stoves is almost addicting if it wasn’t so hard on my back moving them around.
