This time it’s small mount Husqvarna to the large mount style. I recently received a small award at work for collaborating with an engineer, which I cashed in as an Amazon gift card. I decided that my Husky 61 needed a new 18” bar, as the Windsor bar that was on there is getting up there in age. The bar came in and I was gut punched when I realized it’s the small mount. Being a “free” bar and in the mood for an experiment, I drilled 2 new adjuster holes, 2 new oil holes, trimmed the tail, and milled the slot accordingly (0.355 wide) It mounted up perfectly. If anyone wants to attempt it themselves I’ll gladly share the dimensions I used that worked for me, which *should* work on other “2 series” saws.
