Took down another power company left over on my neighbor place the other day. Cut my notch, and started a plunge cut, and got drowned. She was full of water. Thankfully my chaps caught most of the nastiness.

Another primo load of BTUs

 

Nice score GrJfer, I've had that happen but it was when I split some very green bigtooth aspen.

 

That will create a nice feeling when you are getting warm from those BTUs and you remember back to when you cut it down. Will you have a way of remembering this one?

My Oslo, it's red oak. Not sure on the yield as I still need to split it.

Not very often. Those were 20" rounds 22-23.5" long. That is how I most of them.

 

Interesting... Where would the water have come from? Rain or root draw? Just wondering.
