I found out today that a phone's camera can be used to scan a document to a PDF file, not just take a picture. Does anyone use such an app, that's free?
I have it in my iPad for emails. It is not an app but already built in to the programming. Works great if I’m not home to actually run something through the scanner. You can even size it how you want and crop out what you don’t.
Like tree tree killer , my iPad can scan documents using the Hewlett-Packard software from our scanner/printer. It works awesome sauce!
Android phones mainly use Google Drive to accomplish this. However I am sure there are other apps that can be used.
There is an adobe app that is free. Limit 25 pages. I currently use genius scan. Many more pages. On a droid phone.
I have Mobile Doc Scanner (but can't remember if I had to pay for it). Also have Tiny Scanner for work. Only lets me keep 3 scans but can pay to upgrade to unlimited. Hope that helps.
