Breezy rainy day.. good day to burn the summer off the wood stove. Any 1st burn scent will be changed out via open windows.

Glad to see first burns are starting. I think I'm usually a few weeks behind the crew in the upper northeast.

 

Probably around now. There has been some cool August days a number of years ago when I fired it up

 

I'm fighting the urge to fire up the wood stove, it's currently 33° but is supposed to get to 75° today, typically Oct 1st is my official start date, but this year it will probably be earlier.

 

Off and on sunshine and a mild 77 here today. No where near first fire for us yet.

 

With New England you never know. I can remember working on a job one April and it was in the 90's. Few days later we had snow flurries. Hope you enjoyed the fire.

 

82*F in central Va , nothing burning but some hotdogs on the grill.
