I have a heavy duty Alpiner wood stove that is taking up space and if someone is in serious need of a wood stove (been there) and not having the funds to purchase one I would be happy to accommodate them. First off its in good shape as I used it for 10 years to heat my old leaky house after I had to pay astronomical amount of money to heat the house with a state of the art super efficient oil burner and it was costing me a fortune to do so . I am heating with pellets as I am getting old and 10 cords a year is a bit too much but actually I do not have the time to cut, split, stack 10 cords a year and I miss cutting and processing firewood but the reality is I simply do not have the time. In addition I am still in recovery from shoulder surgery. I mostly hang in the pellet forum but still have 3 chainsaws and put food on the table a long time ago logging and processing firewood. Someday after I find the time to restore my house I will be installing a wood stove somewhere in this house as I miss cutting immensely but for now I would like to see this wood stove put to use and especially if someone is in need because of monetary issues and just needs some help. Only issue that may be considered would be that the baffle is warped but it never created any issues with burning as the stove cranks out some serious heat, more than any stove I have ever owned and I have owned quite a few. Someone with experience should be able to replace it in no time meaning knowing how to cut and weld as the entire stove is made from 1/4" boiler plate steel. It does require a lot of wood as it will crank out some serious heat but will devour a lot of wood as most of the older stoves do. It is a Canadian stove and somehow they took all the best aspects of the stoves out there and put it in one stove without trademark infringement. I don't have time tonight to post a pic but will do hopefully tomorrow night if time presents itself. I live in Central MA and have to get it out to an accessible area for someone to take it. It is Heavy as I would estimate it to weigh at least 500 lbs and will take up to 30" sticks . This is a great forum with a lot of great folks and I would love to see it go to someone in need. Thanks
