    Warmin the hooch this morning.

    My low tech, portable wood shed is full.

    Made up my mind I wasn't going to winter over 6 layin hens this year so they went in the stew pot. Now I just gotta get the chicken house full of far wood.

    You got wood storing spots all over. Heck, if you got a dry spot, use it.

    I like your low tech mobile wood storage shed.
    Why are you not wintering your chickens, I inherited 3 layers from my daughter and plan on keeping them over the winter.

    Well, having raised everything from racing homers to pheasants to chucker's and chickens and geese and ducks and every type of foul in between for almost 50 years I just aint in the mood no more to bust frozen waterers or shovel snow just to get to a pocket full of frozen eggs. Layer mash is getting more costly too. Next spring I will go to the sale in Waverly and get some more 2 year old production layers and keep them till winter and start the whole thing all over again.
    dammed straight it was. I try not to let nuthin go to waste around here.

    Butcher i would like to no what pick up bed that utility trailer is made out of,kind a looks like a international ? Also i see you are a reloader, I used one of those lee dispensers for a long time and then switched to a hornady.
