It's been a mild Christmas here on the Wet West Coast. Just before Christmas, I got looking at some old boating magazines and two ads caught my interest. These magazines belonged to Woodwidow's Grandfather - a Tow Boat Captain. I was surprised to find out stern drives were around in the 30's - not an invention of the 70's! I also found this Cummins ad interesting!
Need to do some digging. Have copy from grandpa while in ww2 navy a brochure showing nuclear weapons testing and how they were scrubbing radiation off with soap and water. Wonder why so many vets of that era died of cancer.
