Previous owner had purchased it to cut up a tree in his back yard and then decided to sell it. Only one tank of fuel through it according to him.
    For $325 I couldn’t pass it up.

I have another 460 in the “collection” with a 20” bar so will see how this one handles the 24” bar that came on it.
I swapped out the original chain for a new Oregon chain that was included with the purchase.

Given the price of new saws today and how little wood this saw has seen, seems like a nice deal overall. Hope you are happy with it.

I’ve got no knock on Stihl saws but I’ve never purchased one. My brother has a 290 and it has run well for many years and cut a bunch of firewood. Because they were so cheap to purchase and easy to fix, I’ve mostly stuck to the Shindaiwa brand for saws, blowers and brush cutters.
