Adapting down for the leaf blower trick? What do you use to connect to the venting?

    Hello

Just got a Toro Comercial grade leaf blower. 420 CFM

What do you use to adapt the approx 4.5" vacuum tube down to 4" or 3" pellet venting?

I used a piece of 4" class b vent for my Selkirk DT. Sorry no pics. I might get one tomorrow.

Edit- just looked at my dealers website, here's the setup they sell.

I believe the adapter is just a 4" to 3" drain tile reducer.

I cut the vacuum end down until I could fit a 4"-3" PVC reducer. The 3" slips on the end of a 3" vent, and on 4" vent it goes inside the vent. Then I seal it up with a few wraps of duct tape.

I will get a pic later this evening.

I cut the intake portion down until the 4" end of the 4"-3" reducer fit snug. Then I smeared and secured it with Liquid Nails. Been on there for 3 years and it ain't coming off!

I have a Troy Bilt 240 MPH/450 CFM unit. Works as advertised ;)

I have a straight horizontal exhaust. I hook the leafblower to it using dryer vent to get me away from the house. Its held on by aluminum tape......works nice

I have the same Toro blower/vac as Smoke. Take the term cap off and use a 90 elbow and some duct tape. 2 minute set-up.
