No doubt he'll be having some days with much longer rides. If you ride regularly, 50 miles is quite easy....most of the time.

Well, some days ya just turn the cranks and enjoy the day on a bike. Really not much to see, or photograph, once out of Columbus.

At a Best Western in Hebron, Ohio because the only campground in our range, a KOA, wanted $60 for a tent site with no water or electric! For a few $ more we get a king bed, ac, hot tub and pool and a full hot breakfast. I think my wife deserves it!:D

    Tomorrow is another day....

Enjoy your night...no idea why/when campsites got so expensive!

Wow. Talk about expensive camping! A corn field would be better perhaps than that KOA. But a night in the hotel probably was nice.

Ralphie, I have to admit you are a bit different as when I go on the bike, I take pains usually to stay out of cities and even small villages usually. A few miles out of the way works for me but occasionally as you know, we have to stop for supplies.

One of the best WWII memorials I've ever seen is in Zanesville, Ohio. Those are helmets with the names of local GI's killed in action.

I'm glad we didn't have to climb that one!
