Ya a little dramatic but man what a deal!

We went to do grocerie shopping tonight and stopped at our local farm supply who had a Forney 180 on sale. I have been looking at a bunch of welders but this one was a no way can I pass it up for the price welder. We used Forney at a previous employer and they are right up there with Hobart quality.

Forney 180FI retail in store $699 sale was 499 with cart for an open box unused welder. I don't need the cart so I haggled for a bit and got it down to 429 without the cart sooo without further ado!

Good deal there Pete. I hope to get a mig too at some point. Lots of ideas with metal to stick together.

Has Pete calmed down yet. You'd think he got a new favorite toy the way he was
    hollering & jumping around.
    LOL :) :)

I sold the old Mig to Jack the Knife and have been saving money for some time know for a new better mig. Well I layed a couple welds last night because I obviously couldn't sleep till I used it... I'll get some pics after I get up and around but I will say I love it so far. It stuck two pieces of 1/4" like nothing and didn't skip a beat or burn through at all. Beautiful welds.

Mine should arrive today, think my brother will be breaking it in since I am still very much under the weather. He said he had a Stove and a snowmobile that need some work.

Well that's great, I know how much you love to weld. Maybe you could make a video.

Be sure to tell him it needs its own supply! That one really doesn't like to be on a wall outlet with lights and other stuff..... Also make sure I put the new tips in the box Jack! I might have totally forgot cuz I do that at times. If not they are the hobart tips from the farm store only a couple bucks for a big pack. That should have .035 in it so make sure you use the right tips if I didn't put them in the box.

That place is like crack to me I can't not go in when we are by them.:D It was brought to my attention as a matter of fact a few weeks ago by one of the employees he has been snooping around here since I told him about us so thanks a lot bud if your reading this. It's always good to deal with you guys. If you don't know who I am on here I am the guy with the very Russian fur hat. ;)

  Or maybe put a log on it and wonder why it's not working:rofl: ….. Seriously, thats a sweet machine:cool: Get lot's of tips and nozzle spray to keep the end in nice shape. If you should run out or don't have spray, any thing like "PAM" or veggie oil will work in a pinch.
