    Had planned on going to the next town over for a hoard on my way home from work.

    Stopped and got a new chain. By the time she replied the tree had been claimed.

    No biggie as I have plenty.

    When suddenly on the way to pick up the kids, a little maple was dropped in the road from the Wood Gods

    Only got a few pieces, but I got to play with saws...

    Looks like a red maple. I have quite a bit in this year's mix to be burned. I like it.

    likin the lichen might be better than licken the lichen

    They cling to just about everything here and they supposedly loosen the granules from asphalt shingles. There are several mitigations. They supposedly do no harm to the trees and rocks though.
