It's been snowing most of the day today. So on top of what we already had, there's quite a bit of snow on my wood stacks. The temp is rising now into the mid 30's and we're supposed to get rain tonight. Nice!!

My wood stacks, all that you see in the photo, is mostly dry hickory with some cherry. It's all tarp covered. Each stack is 2 cords and MC is around 15% in all you see. I've mostly burned through one stack already (hidden behind the first stack on the right with the leaning pallets) and some of one down near the bottom. The snow makes getting wood a bit difficult. Good thing I've got my B7610 Kubota.

Also, with such deep snow in the woods I can't get to the big trees to try out my new MS441C-M. Bummer!

Tomorrow's Groundhog Day. Spring is on the way!!

Only thing better than snow covered stacks. Sitting by the fire whilst it is snowing.
One of the best movies is groundhog day may have to watch it in honor of the day.
