    Seinfeld :)
Haven’t been too busy and when I do get off my lazy butt I forget the phone. So just some random pics.

Refilling a pen with 18” fireplace wood. Have a customer who’s specific in what he wants. Doesn’t like my 16” dry wood, burns too fast in the fireplace. So one season only.

oak fell into the back lot. Clean that up first. Lost about 7 feet of the base to ants. Left that in the woods.

Some spars that had been raised off the ground. Drove by them for a couple years grabbing other stuff in more peril of rotting.

More recent ant blow over. 19 degrees and 45mph gusts today. Decided to see how the northerners do it. :)

Your log arch has better wheels than my truck! Nice setup.

    It’s a beagle puppy?, yes?
They are built for chasing rabbits in the snow. If it’s not too cold for you to be out it’s not too cold for the dog.

Nicer wheels than my truck too :) They come off one of those little hot rod Subaru WRX’s.

Long story short after much trial and more error they were the closest larger rim I could find that matched the old barracuda hubs on the arch. Of course they came with lo profile tires which didn’t work well. Those are truck tires on there now.
Wheels and tires on an arch make a huge difference in performance. Big diameter with high sidewall tires, low pressure, just run over rocks and stuff instead of breaking things like the atv. An easy pull allows you to go more places with less stress.

You’re not wrong but I know she’s not a fan of the bitter cold. Still house training the little (you know what) and she doesn’t like to go out in this teens stuff. Trying not to make that issue worse than it is.
Think it’s mostly her pads on the feet. They’re still smooth like a baby’s butt. And yeah a coat won’t help that unless keeping her blood warmer helps the feet stay warmer,,,,,

I found out last month that they make booties for dogs; they helped a lot with my toy Australian Shepherd (if she doesn’t work them off)

Pulled a few more logs off that oak tree yesterday. Piles big enough to take the splitter out to it. Sure has been cold and windy lately.

I really like your set up. Just curious though. Why didn't you cut all the way thru the log when it was in the log arch?

There’s only one picking point needed somewhere front of center. Cut off any weight and the log will nosedive.
