    Hey guys,

Thought I'd post some pics of the white top 61 I picked up this past Sunday. Piston scored and cylinder not in best of shape (looks to have eaten a bit of carbon), but for $65, a great parts saw for my black top 61. All plastics in great shape, chain brake great, etc. A few pics of the black top and the parts saw. The new 61 came with a Windsor bar in great condition and nearly new chain - nearly worth the cost of the saw. Tore the new 61 down today - bagged and tagged and ready to serve for parts as needed. Cheers!

Thanks brother - my neighbor bought it used in the mid-80's and used it a bit, then shelved it. We're good buddies and he knows my chainsaw problem - he brought down to my house last summer and gave it to me - it's in excellent running condition - just rebuilt the carb and new fuel line and she runs real well. With the 16" bar, it cuts pretty darn quick. Cheers!

Dang! With a 16" bar it should be like a light saber :saw::saw:

Hey Dex - she does real well with the small bar - pretty quick - was hoping the parts saw would have a 20" bar on it, but no luck - another 16" bar - but in good shape with nearly new chain. I keep a 20" on the 262xp, so having the 61 with good power on a short bar has been fun to run! Cheers!
