    Hello Free Hoarders of Planet Globe,
    My name is Bob and I live and breath in England, UK.
    I dwell just North of a place called London. I huge mass of concrete, the occasional tree and a whole heap of bi-peds. Luckily for me I live in a wee cottage in a huge (huge for London, not for you Stateside Jockies) Country Park and lived in said cottage for the last five years, but it's only from the early part of this year that I have been running a wood stove. Now I have the stove I wouldn't go back to central heating if you paid me!

    I work for the local Parks Dept and have done so for the last 30 years. Now, working for the PD has many benifits, not least....WOOD! Of which there is tonnes of the stuff. I hope I can learn the art of hoarding and learn it well. My ever expanding stash of hardwood is increasing at an alarming rate, but by the looks of it I have much to learn from the wise and good on 'ere!

    I will post a few pictures of my numerous homemade pallet wood log stores when I find time.

    Until that time...
    Keep choppin'

    Bob the Log :eek::yes:

    Welcome to the club, tell us more about how you process your wood supply and your burning practices. I am very interested in the English wood burning experience. :popcorn:

    Hello Bob, welcome to the FHC. By the way, there is another Brit on here so you are not the only one. Yes, it will be interesting to see your take on things since I am sure the UK has different rules for wood burning. In the states, wood stoves are governed by the EPA regulations.
