will be created tomorrow so a certain part of the house will get more sun. Some of the pines are good and others are dead or just will never be good trees. We'll have 5 to 7 on the ground if everything goes well, pictures tomorrow.

We'll use the wood for some of our shoulder season wood a couple of years down the road. There is a dead cherry in behind some of the pines that will need to come down later on.

Next, come over here. Plenty of work to be done! :D

I think all the white stuff may be gone by the weekend. Might open up some opportunity to wood work.

I hope so but this makes me think we have two more snowstorms coming our way before mother nature says it's spring.

We'll have a cable on them since the propane tank and the house are nearby......the propane tank is much closer. Most of the bigger pines have a natural lean away from both, two smaller pines lean back some toward the propane tank if I remember it correctly.

Amazing how fast the snow is disappearing - about 2.5 feet last week and bare spots showing now - speeding up the melt. Outlook is for a mild stretch for at least a week - even getting into the upper 50's low 60's - crazy - spring may arrive early this year! Cheers!

My plan was to drop seven down in the lower area to the left of the propane tank but it would've been a mess so I dropped the two that were close to the propane tank and two dead ones, the two in the first picture are all blocked up but the two dead ones are still there but off the driveway.

Did I ever tell you I hate limbing up white pine.

The proof that the two are blocked up and in the one picture you can see how many will come down to create the new tree line.

I hate limbing as well :hair: I will break out the weed eater with the brush blade on small stuff like that to keep from bending over.

, Glad you took the trees down without harm done. I must be an exception, I can't stand having trees where they can fall and cause damage.

I sure don't think you're crazy. Staying bent over all day is on my don't do list.
