Quiet afternoon so went into the woodlot between rain showers. Took down some small snags and cleaned up some of the recent storm damage.
Not the best wood but be good after it dries for starting the stove. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Wow, the moss! Is you location part of the rainforest? Small rounds are great wood as long as they are still dense. Great for extended burns and you dont have to split them

Just curious about the moss. Do you scrape it off or just let it dry down and throw it into the stove with the wood?

I usually don’t take the moss off unless it comes off on its own. Lots of rain here. I really don’t mind the moss, the ivy we have growing here is much worse to deal with.
