I had to go pick up sticks to mow grass, didn't sound like much fun bending over picking up all those sticks, all of a sudden I had an idea.
I have this long reach grabber deal I use in the pole barn to hang stuff on the wall.
Will it work, I don't know I will try it :)
Wow it worked really good, short sticks, long sticks, fat stacks, skinny sticks, picked them all up great, it was even faster than bending over to pick them up.
It will pick up an eighth inch stick or a three inch stick, I got my 20 bucks worth out of it just today:thumbs:
    I don't know, am i lazy or smart? :)

I could've used those tongs when I was riding my ATV around and leaning over to pick up sticks before I mowed the lawn.

    That would've been doubly smart/ lazy.:D

Nice back saver for sure. ! :zip:

I have the G-kid pick up the stick as I drive the atv & trailer around the yard in spring.
They get to ride in the trailer.
They have fun & we get to check one chore off the list.

    Then inside of hot chocolate.

My wife got a kick out of it too. The first half hour was me riding around like I was 14 again, and then I figured I'd get some work done wood screwing around.

No not a forest but I do have trees all the way around my property, the five acres on the east side are where most of the sticks come from, west wind blows all that crap right in my yard, when the leaves start dropping and we get a good Wind it's like it is snowing

I was going to strap one of those to my mower so I didn't have to get off of it each time I find a stick that blew down or a log or toy that my dogs dragged into the yard to chew. Thanks for the reminder, I just have to find a decent "picker-er-up-er" now!

I like that HDRock ... where'd you get it? Anything that can grab stuff at my feet, while I'm standing up, is a must-have for this ole fella.

I had a cheep one before that broke , this is a good one .
The older ya get the more ya think about using things like this , I should of thought of it sooner , works really good , great back saver, you can pick up very small stuff ,then the curved part on the jaws will grab bigger stuff
