Need to get this at least cut back out of the field before hay starts growing too much. It's been a while since I cut much wood...I had (and still have) a bunch from the old places that's 8+ years old. But I couldn't let the fil let someone else get this from the rented farm.... I know there was a thread the other day talking a out limb wood and the pain. Getting there.... Only cut w the echo battery saw so far, I really like it. 460's gonna get to eat soon.
Made a pretty good dent in it. Boy I can tell I haven't done this in a coons age. Swung the maul on some of it....most busted like a dream. Its gonna be an advil kind of night, and prob am....
Truck is down right now. Got to fix a tire that has a slow leak and get a battery. This farm is only a few miles.m from the house, so I'll probably go cut it up on the weekends (if I'm not on fire at work), and hopefully get truck straight soon and take the trailer up there. I'm in no rush, other than getting it when I'm not messing up the hay or the wheat planted in front field. So as long as I get the limbs out of the field some, I can get it whenever
I need to be cutting on the dead ash that's on my place and the inlaws, before it goes off and to have quicker drying stuff prepping. But gotta get this red out of the way. The echo battery saw cuts good on the small stuff and limbing. I like it for the no fumes, not loud, only running when I pull the trigger. And then I fire up the 460, and it's like I forgot what a beast she is. I'm sure my old 460 is a female, cause she runs like a scorned woman who's pizzed at me for running another saw....
