Remind me of this when I bitch about heat and humidity. 5 hours in a steady down pour trying to finish up a landscape job. 45° and a good stiff wind. Soaked and cold, almost to the shiverin point. Told my guys to go home and get warm and dry since I don't need no sick F-ers come tomorrow. I went into the office to turn in some paper work and there was 3 counter holder upper gals all blabbering at me about how some customer had called and wanted their landscape done or a tree planted right now or something. With my right hand I gave those gals a 1 finger salute and informed them that they was walkin on the wrong side of me at the moment. Thank God I still have some wood in the high and dry to take the chill off and dry my work cloths off with too.
Was in the chill cutting ceramic tile yesterday for about 4 hours yesterday myself. Got all wet from my shoes to my shirt. Had to have a fire and obviously changed clothes. Not something I do every day though. Spring is here, and so are the mammoth skeeters to go along with it. A few of 'em almost dragged me off into the woods earlier.
I am in KCMO on business this week, think the high was like 51 or something today and raining, everyone is walking around in hoodies, I"m walking around in a short sleeve T shirt. was the coldest May 20 in like 100 years ,People are like aren't you cold, nope I am from Seattle this is comfy / beats the heck out of 90 degrees and high humidity
Black Sabbath is a dirty old piece of pig iron right now but its spring and it will get cleaned when I get time. I run that Jotul like a stolen mule all winter long. It is due for a rest.
