I have killed a small one on public land and a few does in the last few years. But usually dont kill dinkers anymore.

I am usually thinking of all the work at the farm house I have to do or can't wait to get on my tractor to work. Or use a saw to cut back the trees and branches on the edge of the fields so I can mow better.

So......i take it the 441 has gone away?....id imagine a ported 441c...would and ported 461 would be very similar..and not discernable to your average saw man...or do i have this all wrong?:sherlock:

You'd have to ask Dex, as he owns both models. However his 461 is still stock.

I can tell you that the average sawman probably could see a big difference between the 441C-M and the 1128 series saws (440/460/461) but it's not in the power department. ;) Kinda like buying a '69 Camaro and a 2014 Camaro. Both are a helluva car, look great, and are sure to impress your buddies, but which one do you really want to strap into for that day-long drive?

I for one was relatively unimpressed by my 461 stock. Yeah, it was a BIG step up from my beloved 361 (the saw I would choose if I could only have one saw), and the power:wgt ratio was incredible, but it was not a world beater. Then it went to TN for porting, and it is now everything I need... Until I get myself a 661 or Husky 395xp.

I have nothing against a 441cm at all and have never had a bad thing to say about them at all.

It's all about what the heart wants. If you set out for something? And then settle? You still want what you originally wanted.

I believe that was the case with Griz. He went from a 391, to a 362, to a 441, to a 461! Happiness is bliss!! :D
