This 40 Volt pole saw is way cheaper than the 80Volt, has a 8 inch chain. Out of the box it assembled easy bar oil tank is small, funnel required to fill it I felt because I had not thought of thr turkey baster I keep for such things.

Battery didn't have a full charge in it but I wanted to give it a try with what was in it. firse I tackled a Sun Burst Locas about 2 inch branch. Like a knife thru butter on it, next was a 4 inch branch, again slick as a knife thru hot butter.

A 6 inch popple tree was no challange at all so move on to a 4 inch shag bark hickory. was just the same as working on the popple it seemed.

Yes over all it is heavy so if not used to it will get to thre arms to hold it up. Trick would be to allow the weight to rest on the branch. Nope it goes thru a branch to quick so you have to support the weight.
The balance is good however I felt.

The battery took about 15 minutes to fully charge after I quit playing i mean working with it.

    :D Al
