I was going to get another 3 tons of Matra’s, but the local supplier was out. They had the AWFs in stock and were a bit cheaper vs. the Matra’s; AWFs were $365 ton. (I bought them from BT Pellets for the CT Crew)

I burned a ton of these years ago when the big box stores used to carry a variety of pellets. They burned well. And for the few bags I’ve run through the stove this season, so far so good. Heat output is very good, very little ash and fines in the bag seem to be less vs the Matra’s.

A few pics. Interestingly enough, they were delivered on two skids vs one. I do like the local suppliers vs the big box stores; some store their pellets inside vs outside.

I’ll keep this thread updated as the weather cools and I’ll have more bags run through the stove.

I fired my stove up this past weekend at night. Matras twee the flavor of the day. Now it's back to the windows open today.
