IMG_4485.jpeg This is one of Kubota’s Tractor Loader Backhoe (TLB) Series machines. They are built for construction duty work with stronger frames, stronger hydraulics systems, higher lift capacity loaders and stronger digging and lifting backhoes than their same size agricultural counterparts.

Well that took longer than I expected, it’s been all of what 8-10 months since you sold the full size backhoe. What are you getting next?

:) Not 100% sure yet. This one has so much that I may keep it. But, if it sells, then I’ll probably go with something less expensive. I am slowly, but surely, reducing debt. I will have everything paid off in 4 years. About 4 years, 4 months, and 13 days until retirement. Not that I’m keeping track.

Great plan, nice looking machine I hope you can sell it but more than that the preparation for retirement goes as planned!

I sometimes buy a Loader Backhoe with cab and heat for the colder months. Use it to move clay/dirt, dig stumps, etc., and when snow starts gettin deep move snowbanks as they build up. Then, sell in the spring when construction starts to pick up, and go back to a machine that has a removable backhoe and three point hitch. It’s nice to be out of the colder weather for those 5-6 months.

That’s plum smart thinking, equipment around here is usually either almost new and expensive or needs lots of maintenance to be ready to use. Once I have equipment ready to use I don’t want to sell it!

Did you buy your machine at an auction that Tractor time with Tim was at? I saw your machine or another one just like it sell at the auction he videoed.
