Where are all the McCulloch fans at?

My buddy has a SuperPro 70.
He says it needs a coil.. and its for sale.

Comes with the original manual and original
Warranty card from 1976 when it was purchased new.

Saw is neater then hell in person.

What is your input on these?
    What is it worth?
He says ear plugs are a must... lol

I suspect thistle will be the resident expert. Based on the couple that have sold recently on eBay, my guess is that your friend might clear $75 or so for that one.

With old saws, you need to see if you can get NOS parts or functioning used parts. And they can be pricey. SP70 has points under the flywheel. Probably a Walbro SDC carb. Google Super Pro 70 IPL - you can see what parts you may need and research prices.

    I paid $50 for a (kinda) running PM-700. I sold it for $100.

I've got my dad's sp60 and will be interested to see the responses. Mine must be older cuz I don't have a brake on dads.

I'll say that these old macs have a very cool sound, tons of torque, lots of weight, and will rattle your teeth out.
Still it's a blast to run occasionally.

That's definitely worth a hundo.....Quick simple project

If they would ship (and I hadn't went nuts with several other saw purchases in past 2 months PLUS my new custom built to order shed delivered this afternoon :D ) I'd be grabbing that for sure....
