It makes it so much easier to tape and mud. It will require less sanding. I hate sanding.

Looks like a nice clean install! Not an easy job. The mfg installed them with the body off and before the engine and transmission were installed.
It makes me happy to see the annual firewood move threads. To me it means firewooding season is just weeks away. Those basements full of firewood...
