You may have the recirculating carburetor that was on the early 670s. I’ve never seen one here so I don’t really know what they are about

If the rails are true, the bar will stand up on edge on a flat level table. If the bar stands up, your chain sharpening vs raker height is uneven
In log form, after a year it’s about half as much work to split. Another year and it’s not stringy at all
