Hello all, been a long time since I have been on here. I recently purchased a country canyon wood stove. I’m planning on using it to heat my shop....
I’ve been heating my 30x30 shop with one and it throws off the heat.
Thanks to everyone for all the helpful solutions! I will be ordering a new oem tc that’s for sure.
It was an aftermarket that I got from pellet stove parts 4 less. I fixe the other thermocoupler. Well Rick fixed it he’s one hell of a welder.
That tc is definitely getting returned.
No I didn’t. I don’t have a multimeter to test it. I will be purchasing one.
The chitty part is solder will not work for long and it comes off but she definitely was working.
Well fellas! The new thermocouple I purchased must be junk! I took the old tc and cleaned it up really well and resoldered the end and threw that...
I will mess with it tonight. The old box does the same thing as the new box I purchased. I’m going to try all the suggestions and see what happens...
Maybe I have a bad thermo c. It’s brand new and I was careful not to bend it to much but that could be what’s wrong.
I gave that a shot. On the first start up it makes a nice fire. Then like I said before it won’t start feeding it. It will slowly go out and...
It’s about 90 some seconds it will do the start up feed. Then it lights and never continues to feed pellets. The flame goes out.
First off before I do that I want to say thank you to you and others for the help.
I unhooked it from the wall thermostat and jumped it where the thermostat hooks up to see what it would do. The thermocouple is brand new and has...
So basically it’s not calling for more heat. It’s doing a start up and then it never starts feeding pellets with the new or old board in. Is there...
I just tried it without being hooked to a thermostat and it did it’s start up and quit dropping pellets. No lights and it is still running and the...
I believe so
With the new board in it will do a start up then it flashed yellow then shut down. Then the thermostat calls for heat so it will fire up again.
I will see. I ran back home to get the new board to see if that makes a difference. I put the old one back in it.
