Seems to be a lot of love for the 4910. I've never ran one. If their like the 590/620 series Echo saws, small mods = big returns.
I really like the X Cut chain. Seems to stay sharp longer than Oregon.
254XP is a great old saw. Certainly worth fixing!!
32F burning douglas fir and juniper.
80s BMX was so fun! Piece of plywood on 2 cinderblocks was a jump. Talk younger siblings into laying on the ground so the riders could fly over...
Brings back memories!! I was 13 in 1983 and BMX and 80cc mx motorcycles were all i lived for. My cousin Joe had a chrome mongoose just like in the...
I live in eastern Oregon. Douglas fir is one of my favorite woods to burn. I usually start the stove with pine, then pour the doug fir or Larch on...
Stihl 361 is a great saw. Those and the husqvarna 262xp are probably the best 60cc saws of all time.
Nice Saw! I really like the look of the Jonsereds. They don't make new ones anymore, so of course the desirable models are getting pricey.
The old poulans that were real chainsaws are really cool. A friend of mine has a 375 farm pro that he brought back from the dead. It's 55 or 60cc...
Get going on hoarding some pine. It drys alot faster than the hardwoods. Great for starting fires. Then throw the hardwoods on for the good burn...
Looks like Grandpa took very good care of that 61. I'm a huge fan of the 254 through 272 husqvarna saws.
I been watching alot of AFLEETCOMAND here lately. Lots of great info on older husqvarna saws.
That's a very nice looking 61 you have there.

Ya 084 is a heavy beast. We had one at the sawmill i worked at in the 90s. It had a helper handle on a 6 foot bar. It was used to slab logs that...
38F burning lodgepole pine.
100$ a cord for log length is a great price. Where i live it's 150-200 $. We burn ALOT of pine here, and the only sub- specie i would recommend...
I love the pioneers, and poulan pro branded pioneers. The big ones P62, 655BP if they are running correctly will out perform modern equivalents.
Can't pass up a score like that. Nice dry lodgepole is one of my favorite woods to burn. I can get black locust, but it hardly ever gets cold...
