I was able to spend a couple more hours on mine yesterday. I need to thin the rakers, tunnel, polish rivets and touch up once more before I test run.
Granted, I have machines, but my chain is being done strictly by hand. My first time too, I am learning lots, it's fun.
Most of them I bought when Silvey was still in business. The Ziegelmeyer was pure luck as was the 510.

When in doubt, one full turn out on each the L and H screws, they will always be really close. Inform the customer that it will need to be fine...
This is my first ever chain, I'm going big boys. Go big or go home, lol.
I've 6hrs into my chain so far and I have lots to do yet. A guy can sure drink a lot in that span.
I think because each "blip" a limb or knot was being sawed off. Not sure, maybe I'm just "blipping crazy."
Got an 088 coming, after a good port job I want to make another vid.
