And a Dolmar 421 for the win. It’s a shame that Makita ever bought out Dolmar just so they could close up.
Very good store, I buy all my chain in rolls from them.
I’m running a 20” on my 500 but I have a mildly ported 7900 Dolmar with a 18” at the moment.If I wanted a 24” it would go on the 7900.
if you are looking at Stihl I would go 400
There is an Amish guy in central Ohio that makes a very good super splitter that is very high quality, I have one that I used for years.
Eric built some damm good work saws for me.RIP my friend
Thank you
Just seen this ad,If I wasn’t this old and fighting cancer I would be interested to make an offer as an old friend back in the 70’s had only one...
Great splitters.I highly recommend.
Tips are better on the sugi.
I have this one for around the farm.[ATTACH]
There is a lot of life left in that chain
It will be faster cutting with the 7 even with a 20”bar
I have my opinion of the heavy slow cutting saw and you have yours.
Sell it and get a 261.ms290’s are pretty pathetic.
I would buy the 562 because of it’s physical size and power.Dolmar 6100 would be my next choice because of it’s power.
Congrats on the new saw.I picked mine up last week (24” lite bar)but haven’t run it yet.
The 4300 is a mean little machine for a very good price
