I cut 2 medium white pine near the house today, the first one had more lean in a bad direction. I normally would seek help but had a plan, went...
Yep, seems kinda crazy to be discontinuing some models that Ruger has been known for. Not long ago I bought two LCRx handguns, 22 & 22 mag, 3” barrel.
I would like to cover, or be under a roof, but am not. I’m in S WI, snowfall is limited. I do cover the pile I’m using, as needed. I take some...
[ATTACH] [ATTACH] I have some medium+ size white pine I’ve been cutting back around the house. One reason is too many needles in the gutters, plus...
My favorite deer rifle is a lightweight Browning ‘Micro-Hunter’ in 284 Winchester, 20” barrel. It’s very close to 7mm-308 ballistics, just a touch...
Some of those methods are interesting and very labor intensive. Not being lazy, but I’m trying to keep the labor level down. Small stumps I can...

I’ve heard about the ‘mini splits’ not sure what’s involved, many seem happy. I have a 2 story house, central A/C, 1996 vintage. The issue is...
I’ve never owned a Husky, always been a Stihl guy, recently added a few Echo saws. I’d be up for trying one.
I’m not even trying to get wood, plentiful now with recent storms. Today I cut for a lady that had storm damage, large load of sugar maple for my...
She can be a handful, but we have 11 years of history.
I wouldn’t worry about someone wanting to steal a big game mount.
I just read in the news that wacko that shot the health care exec in NYC had a rather advance, homemade suppressor. I think he made it himself.
I’d likely be out a few exits from anywhere near the city, along direction of travel. Park in a lighted area, nothing valuable in the vehicle....
Seems like a great price, $229.
