There are lots of guys out there with 3/8 18's and 20's on 261's. It's just not ideal.
Dealer told me it would match up ok but recommended against it. From what I read online, others have run a 3/8" 20 bar on a 261 and most were ok...
I was considering the same at the beginning of this. I figured if I changed the sprocket, I could run the 20" bar and chain from my 500i on a 261....
