U can see the file is not inside the tooth.
3/16" file.
So I just received the .325 husky roller file guide and it rides too high on my stihl RS chain. Any ideas?
Are u talking about the edge on the top part of the cutter?
How can you tell they're not sharp by looking at it?
T posts?
I crib my stacks for the most part but lately I have been having a hard time cribbing because I have no flat/straight pieces. Any ideas?
I've heard the husky rollers are set at a 35 degree angle. My stihl chain is 30 degree. Can anyone verify this?
I've seen the stihl rollers at the dealer but they're ridiculously priced at $37. The husky rollers are $13 on Amazon
I've seen these recently. They look pretty cool. Do I need a reg .325 roller for a stihl RS chain or the .325 "narrow kerf" roller?
The chain is basically brand new. Used it once and hit a nail with it. Prior to this it was spitting out huge pieces of wood almost making piles...
I feel like I can maintenance sharpen a chain but a chain that has been damaged by a rock or steel is very hard to sharpen for a novice like...
Is this chain worth filing by hand? My chain sharpening skills are not the greatest.
This is the second stihl dealer I've brought chains to that can't sharpen chains worth a damm.
This is what I'm thinking. I had been cutting into some wood that had nails in it. When I brought the chain in I mentioned this to them.
Stihl RS chain just sharpened at a stihl dealer.
Where do u buy those green stakes?
They are great. They burn long and hot.
The envi blocks are great. I burned 2 pallets of those last season. If you need to pay for your wood and can get them for less than $300 a pallet...
Thank u sir
