    I used to get up on the roof and top down poly brush, but all and any residue is in the short horizontal run of pipe and at the T as we have an "over and up" flue, and burn very well seasoned wood. My challenge is getting the horizontal section apart and back together again every year, but with a few scribe marks it goes rather well.
