When you get an offer Brandon Scott , have the buyers tell you what the one thing that made them buy the house.
If it's that wagon wheel, I'll laugh my butt off.

Staging, they say. Or is it "stagecoaching" this time? :rofl:

My decorator asked me if I had any paintings of the Rabbit Hash General Store for the walls. I forgot about the 3 I had in the store on display that I had commissioned a local artist to paint. I call them the trilogy: Anxiety, Tranquility, and Disaster. I just left the store and after talking to the proprietor I have decided to have prints made.

That's a great idea, if the cost isn't prohibitive. The proprietor must think he can sell some.

It’s a she but yes. The one of the store burning down hundreds of people have tried to buy. She was surprised it hadn’t been stolen.

Dunno. I don’t need it. But......I can’t leave it unless the new owner wants it. I have several Amish made pieces made of oak but I just don’t need it.

Foggy out there this morning. Rained off and on yesterday. Blue Jay were on the losing end of a no-hitter BUT kept the Astros to two runs. Our daughter and SIL made it back from their kayak trip out on the west coast and they had an awesome time. Weather was great until the last day.

Yes, my dad. He was leaning on his old fire truck. A guy in Indiana purchased the fire truck and restored it to mint condition.

    Nice paintings!
Just made some prints of my daughters painting at Staples. It was an 11 x 14 scan and it cost $14 to put on heavy stock paper. They didn't have the ability there to make a giclee print on canvas so don't know how much that wouldv'e cost. The print was ok but lost some contrast and the deeper darks...kinda flat. Anyway the crazy thing was the charge for mounting the print on foam core was an additional $22.00!! So we took it home and mounted ourselves using double sided tape.

A bit warmer here today. Yesterday they said temp reached 71 briefly. We only got to 68 and it felt really nice. More of that on the way after today and tomorrow's brief warm up. I like the cool much better than the hot. I told my son yesterday that I always like the months ending with ber.

My cousin stopped by and we finally got all the pecan and a little Bradford pear split. Did I ever tell you guys how much I hate Bradford pears? Anyway need to restock 3/4 Rickof the locusts that fell over and do a little cleanup then it’s time to drag up some more red oak from my brothers.[IMG][IMG]

I know they are related, but not sure if the early spring bloom of the Bradford pear smells like it's cousin the Callery pear (pictured here). They stink to high heaven with a smell resembling nothing of how pretty they look. Bradford pear trees are also pretty in shape, but have that tendency to all of a sudden crack apart ruining it's almost perfect spade shape. Both now are under pressure by townships across the country not to plant as the Callery pear is an invasive smelly species and offshoot or offspring of the Bradford pear. Splitting the wood is not my favorite either.
