Question for professional tree guys

    If I was to get an estimate to take a tree down,
    would I get a break on the cost if I asked you to
    leave all the wood....say bigger than 3" in dia?

    In most cases, yes. It all depends on if the tree guy was a "wood hoarder" or not, like some people we know....

    ;)

    If that was the case, he may even charge you more for keeping it!!

    Around here it's usually quite a bit more for disposal. Time, chippers & trucks ain't cheap.

    Much cheaper here if the heavy stuff gets left at the jobsite.

    Also....dont ask them to buck it. They will not pay any attention to your size requests and you end up recutting alot of it.
