I don't like the really big stuff (24"+) but I can noodle them. Just takes more time. Favorite size is probably about 10-12" because I can put the 4-way wedge on the splitter and run 'em through, one shot. Between 12" and 24", there's more splitting, but I tend to get a lot of pieces without bark which are great for cribbing ends and they dry faster.
These rounds are just a bit smaller than ideal. Cutting up big diameter logs is kinda fun, but splitting and loading them is alot of work
